There weren’t near as many diabetes scholarships available when I went to school. But there are so many now! And that’s wonderful news for high school seniors, undergraduate students, or even graduate students.
The 32 diabetes scholarships listed below will provide financial support for college, trade school, technical schools, and more. So take a look at the national, regional, and sports-specific or major-specific scholarship opportunities for diabetics.
Diabetes SCholarships
It makes my heart happy to know that there are so many people and organizations that recognize the unique challenges diabetes presents for high school graduates going on in their education. Not only do they acknowledge that, but they provide a financial aid package because of it. And that’s huge!
This can make a significant impact for someone dealing with a chronic condition like diabetes, simply because of the medical costs associated with this disease. Having that scholarship money can lessen the need for student loans and set the student up better for success after graduation.
